Our shampoo bars are formulated to restore the perfect balance of moisture to the hair using super specific ratios of carrier oils to butters. They also produce a thicker lather which makes them suitable for shampooing. They are the all-in-one bars that can be used from head to toe. 

Our hand and body bars are formulated with more basic recipes and are therefore available at a lower price point. They still have an amazing lather and are created to last an extremely long time in your shower! You can even shave with them! But, if ya could, please leave the shampooing to the shampoo bars. ;)

We do not compare them because they are totally different products made using completly different methods. Our shampoo bars are crafted using the old fashioned cold process method using lye and plant-based oils. Many popular brands do not use this "raw" method and are actually detergent bars, with chemical ingredients melted together and pressed into a shampoo and conditioner bars. With our shampoo bars you'll find ingredients closest to nature such as coconut oil, palm oil, cocoa, shea and mango butters, herbs, spices, and essential oils. No salts, sulfates, or alcohols. Only nature's finest ingredients - that is our promise!

Commercial shampoos contain harsh chemicals that strip the skin, scalp, and hair follicles of their natural oils. This results in dry and itchy skin. The hair becomes brittle, frizzy, unmanageable, and dull-looking. The scalp can even become greasy because your body can over-produce oil in effort to restore the natural oils that were stripped. Yikes!
